I'm starting to wander into uncharted territory.
Can anyone out there suggest the recommended stats needed for progression past kara? I'm hoping to look at several builds ... healing and shadow priest.

If you have mostly kara gear with some some gruul/mag epics and maybe a blue here and there you should be fine for ssc/tk.

Actually what I'm trying to do is help create a guideline for the priests in my guild, both healing and shadow specced. We are just at the point where we have kara on farm, so we'll be venturing outward right after the holidays.

You're not gonna get much better geared than that from kara, unless you were a tailor, you aren't gonna do that since you're a alch/herb.

I require our shadow priests to have +1000 shadow damage, be hit capped and have over 7000 health unbuffed (with gear in their bags to get higher if needed) to earn dkp in T5 raids.
I posted my guilds holy priests requirements in a similar thread the other day, if you look a few posts down you should be able to find it.
