Ok as iam getting closer to 70 i am thinking of switching to a muti/subt build as such: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/rogue/talents.html?0253001254021025210510000000000000000000000005502030300000000000000

Could someone please tell me if this a half decent attempt at a build :)
Or would a muti/combat build suit me better?

My armoury link is in my sig btw (no comments on my gear neccesary, my account got hacked recently). However what sort of stats should i be looking at to make my build viable?
TY in advance.

1. Remorless attacks is crap...2 points wasted there.
2. Same with imp EA. 2 points wasted again.
3. Get imp Eviscerate.
4. imp poisons is better than vile for muti...you want them on there to get the 150% damage
5. What are your game goals, PvP or PvE?
6. You forgot two points
7. I would change MoD for Camo

In truth the last two points i would probably slot into serrated blades.
What makes you say imp EA is rubbish? surely anything that reduces armour by an extra 50% is good no? Also i thought the Remorse attacks would be good for pvp or pve grinding? I also figured that seeing as i now have rupture/envenom/S&D i wouldnt be using imp evis as much.
Could you explain why imp ea is rubbish please?

Ty for your adice :)

Imp. Eviscerate is pretty pointless in any level 70 build. Imp. EA is great for PvP. If you're focusing on PvP, take EA. Forget Imp. Eviscerate no matter what unless your primary focus is farming crap.

I don't think Remorsless is that great because you have to be cutting through mobs/opponents pretty quick for it to be useful. I don't see where it will be up enough to be useful.

Imp EA my be great in pvp, but in PvE you aren't going to use it that much since it messes up sunder and warrior rage. So, yea, get it for PvP, but it is points better spent if you are going to be raiding.

I find Imp Eviscerate to be better for solo play as mutilate attack rotation should be cs > mutilate > ks > mutilate x2 > eviscerate and maybe a gouge > mutilate > eviscerate if they aren't dead yet. I guess in endgame you will be using envenom more as your finisher, along with rupture and snd, so I can see where it is not as beneficial, but I still think that it has some value, especially in Kara where the bosses are poison immune, so you can't envenom.
This is my intended 70 Muti/sub build, but I will switch to muti/combat when I start raiding.

Your sub points are askew. You need serrated blades maxed out, and I like camo to help with openers (FF and Camo = stealth speed at 100%).

I tried out mut for the first time last night. I hated it. After playing with Shadowstep for a while, mut feels like driving grandma's oldsmobile.

So to noobles and eliff, how would you improve my build then, or are my points well spent? On a further note iI noticed your reply about a 41/20/00 build and wondered if you would reccomend it whilst still levelling, bearing in mind I cant yet get to DW spec :) I was thinking I would switch at 70, but that for now opportunity from the subtelty tree would raise my dps more, before DW becomes available? Is this true or am I mis-informed?

I lol'd, never actually tried shs but i feel muti may be better for my grind to 70, I'll maybe try grandma's speed machine when i get to 70 lol

And lastly at Atrophy I like your build, however as i play on a pvp server would MoD not be better to stop me "glowing in the dark"? A small price to pay would be possibly slower movement speed and no points in setup? That way i could have full opp, MoD and serrated blades :)

Ty for your inputs so far :)

edit: added bit about 41/20/0

IMO if you are going to get ganked on a PvP server, they are going to do it while you are out in the open finishing a fight or such. MoD is good for BGs and such, since they are looking for you. When grinding mobs I much prefer the extra mobility of camo.

I plan on staying sub until I get 70 and then I will switch for raiding. Oppurtunity is best till you can get DW Spec.
