Really trying to get my T4 gloves or something else decent from Kara/Gruul's/SSC but so far no luck with drops. But when I do get lucky - what is a better enchant. Sitting at ~170 hit and 1000 +shadow damage. So should I go for spell damage to gloves or rather go for the hit rating enchant?

What are you specced?
if you're not yet at 202 hit, then the hit enchant is better. if you are, then go for the 20 damage. simple as that
I have the gloves that drop off of attunmen stocked with hit gems and the hit enchant for bosses, and the badges gloves with spell damage for dungeons and trash(T4 won't drop to save my life). Might want to consider something like that as the attunmen gloves have the hit and sockets to boost your hit rating more than the T4.

As I'm putting this up it hasnt updated yet - wearing Spellstrike, Scryers Bloodgem and am about to put the +40 enchant on my weapon. Puts me at ~182 Hit - 14% crit and 955 Shadow Damage. Not bad considering I have only 2 epics not from tailoring and pvp >.<
I have the worlds worst luck with drops it seems :( - but getting the badge belt hopefully by saturday which is 17 hit and 1% crit I think :D - so close to that cap!!!
Sorry - I'm just really excited that I can try out a new spec soon!!

hehe, nice. and grz. gl with the belt. 'tis an amazing one ^^. on the note of bad luck... for me it's that the stuff always drops. but i always roll below 10... o.0 hehe

Capped my hit rating (actually at 207 but will have to do something to make sure I'm not too high) crit at 19% - 24 with devestation and unbuffed damage at 999. My (first ever tier piece since T1) T4 helm dropped of Prince but I think spellstrike is better until I get the gloves or legs/shoulders. I lose to much crit/hit at the moment.
So yeah, now meet my guilds minimum requirements for T5 content and have been accepted into the dedicated 25 man team (we were short one lock).
Lot's of WoW happiness to ensue :D
p.s. Almost halfway to my epic flier - dailies on 2 characters FTW.
