Ok heres the deal i 2v2 with disc priest right now and we started a new team. Starting out at 1500 we won 2 then lost 3. Were we getting completly destroyed. I know why though. reson being that we both turned 70 not to long ago so we have VERY limited experence with arena. Second being that we really DON'T have any gear for the 1500's do u guy have any pointers. i know we are screwed with out the gear but w/e. here is me and the priest's armory:

also should i respecc or what? I just really need help. And i heard priest suck when the get higher ratings without the resiliance needed... is this true shoudl i get a druid or do u think we can manage cause its our team so im never going to kick her off. Open to any and all responses.

Your res is 46...check back when you get to over 300 because until there is no strat you can employ. Maybe 2v2 with another dps that can carry you guys

so basically i have to pvp to get my gear then start? but that will take FOREVER lol. and how much honor do u relly get on Av weekend?
alot but if its like it is on my server 1-1 1/2 hour waits u can get a crap ton other runs in in between. I know i average 627 bonus honor per av run. But for sure u have to get gear before you plant yourself in arena. I mean win or lose you get points but do you really want to run around w/ a 1200 rating, I know I dont I hate that I've been coastin at 1500 lol. For a prior guild 5v5 we were makin it a minimum of at least 2 pieces of s1 armor for the resiliance buff, trust me it helps alot.
Ok tyvm i think ill just grind some rep... i think my priest friend is getting her pants soon but she needs to up it up too huh? how is my specc do i need im gouge?
I've found that the longer my priest stays alive, the better we do. Really you got about a month of grinding BG's before you can get competeive. Most people, even int he 1500 brackets, have over 200 res these days. Its just so easy to get with s1 gear.
So just save up for a while, get s3 helm/chest/hands whatever. And get the rest of vindicators and that will help so much. Right now you guys are nothing but 20 second fights.
As far as spec, I've never played shadowstep. I'd respec to 0/30/31 ar/prep hemo until at least its nerfed. You have 2/2 remorless which is not a pvp talnet. I'de toss all those points from assasin to combat. Mace stun is a must have. improved gouge is kind of useful to me. I dont know. Some people love it, some don't. Either way you need it to go further down in combat anyway.
