wouldnt you want the poison to have a better proc rate first?

On a boss fight, your poisons are going to be on the boss eventually anyways.

In pvp, I'd be more worried about your poisons getting wiped off and doing nothing than actually getting them on there (since you have shiv and all.).

Thats true didnt think about that. Also why is every1 so against imp evis? It has its uses a. your rupture isnt going to happen on trash and b. there is bosses that r immune or u got 5 cp on him at the end and again rupture wont matter. I'm just brain stormin, heh.

Because Eviscerate is terrible.

I hear your DPS on trash matters a lot.

Holy broken English Batman!

1. "There are bosses" - Is is singular, when you are talking about multiple things, the word "are" is used. This is something most people learn before they're four.

So let's all spend 3 talent points to get an extra 300 damage on a boss that's already dead! On the average 6-8 minute fight, that's a whopping .5-1 DPS increase. I do about 1400 DPS, so that's less than a tenth of a percent increase. Incredible use of your valuable talent points.

There are two bosses on which Improved Eviscerate is useful, Hydross and Void Reaver. Both are extremely easy and it doesn't matter anyway.

You sorta-recommend taking Improved Eviscerate in your rogue sticky, IIRC. Or is that only for grinding to 70? The impression I got from your FAQ wasn't exactly "eviscerate is terrible".

On topic, I'm in agreement with the general majority. Vile Poisons looks better. +Damage seems more useful than a higher proc rate unless you really like poisoning people.

Eviscerate is your bread and butter finisher when grinding/farming. Aside from that, it has virtually no uses. It scales terribly and requires talent points to be half viable. Even with 3/3 Imp Eviscerate and the 2 piece T5 bonus, I do better DPS with Rupture than Eviscerate.

As much as I love you correcting my grammer I could really care less, wait a tick let me check something really quick...Oh yeah this IS a WoW site and not English 101. Please don't correct me anymore I would appreciate help with what the thread thats whats it for.

I do however thank you for the info on eviscerate and I will probably go with vile for more damage unless you can supply me w/ a more useful place for the points

So do u recommend using rupture over evisc on trash? I rarley see it stay more than half its cycle and most of the time I cant get a full 5 pts on them.

Hey Nooble just took a gander at your talents, why on earth do you have 3 points in imp evisc? All this trash talk about how gimp it is and there you are with 3 points in it...You sir are a complete hypocrite.

Well if thats the case then I withdraw the hypocrite statement and an apology is due, but I want him to tell me that. For the build I obviously am shooting for maximizing my raiding abilities, I guess I should have said that at the begining of this thread...heh.

Imp. Eviscerate is pretty pointless in any level 70 build. Imp. EA is great for PvP. If you're focusing on PvP, take EA. Forget Imp. Eviscerate no matter what unless your primary focus is farming crap.

I found it! No apologies here! (unless you're one of those crazy Chinese WOWmine farmers lol!)
