Basically my 62 rogue is currently a cold blood/premed spec and i have decided to go muti/subt build, the thing is i have already chosen aldor? i think ( for purple sword) and was wondering if i can now change to scryers? (or aldors if i have them the wrong way round, you get the point lol) because i know they do a nice dagger and my RL friend has chosen them so questing for the items will be easier thanks in advance

To change your faction from the Aldor to the Scryers to access their crafting recipes (and undo all reputation progress you have made), find Arcanist Adyria, a Scryer in Lower City. She offers you a repeatable quest Neutral [62] Voren'thal's Visions, that requires you to find eight Dampscale Basilisk Eyes. Once you are neutral with the Scryers you can no longer receive this quest. The quest gives you +250 Scryers rep and -275 Aldor rep (in bonus, the quest also gives you +125 rep with The Sha'tar, if you have not yet attained honored with them). If you begin at exalted with the Aldor (at which point you are undoubtedly 0 / 36,000 hated with the Scryers), it will take you 168 turnins or 1,344 Dampscale Basilisk Eyes to reach neutral again with the Scryers. At the point you hit neutral with the Scryers, your rep should have deteriorated almost halfway into hostile with the Aldor.

The dagger/sword reason for choosing between Aldor & Scryer is pretty much
history now that you can get S1 weapons with honor.
If you still want to change, the way has been described already by samperor...
but Aldor/Scryer quests are not that big of a deal, so think carefully if
you want to go to all that trouble or not.

Instead of spending time changing faction, just grind honors for your weapon is better and easier.
