First off, this is not my main. My main is a lock who gets completely raped by Rogues if they get the first attack.

Since rogues are the one class that completely destroy me, I figured I would roll one and see what it's about. Surprisingly, I am liking the class a lot more then I figured I would.

Knowing very little about the class so far, I am looking for a casual PvP(non arena)/PvE instance(non raid) build.

I have been told by several rogues that mace spec is extremely useful for non arena PvP and have also been told Hemo is very nice in PvP.

From the info I have gathered here, viewing various armory builds of Rogues who completely destroy my poor lock and talking to other Rogues, I am completely confused.

So here is the basic Mace/Hemo build I have come up with. Is this even a feasible build? If so, where should I put the rest of my points?

I see several things wrong with that build; the obvious standout is that it's a slightly re-jigged raid combat sword build, and has nothing to do with either maces, or, in fact, Hemo.

As for taking Deflection/Riposte and Imp SnD over Endurance and Imp Sprint, with no Imp Gouge in a PvP build... I could go on, but I believe you need to relink the actual build you were thinking ofSmiley: wink.

Hemo's getting nerfed next patch.

Any of the mace rogues who don't go shadowstep will be back to a combat maces build, that being 17 assass/44 combat (or somevariation thereof 19/42 or 20/41)

Key talents to make it nice for PVE and PVP:
Malice
Relentless Strikes
Dual Wield Spec
Precision
Mace Spec (DUH!?!?!?!?!)
Combat Potency
Imp Sprint
Imp Kick (very nice in BGs)

My favorite thing about the deep combat build is that when you get into that evasion war with an AR/Prep, ShS, or Muti rogue, your KS lands, but you dodge his thanks to Surprise Attacks.

Having just started playing a rogue I can only go with what looks decent on paper as I have no first hand experience with the abilities. Thats the reason I am here asking. My Rogue just recently broke into the 20's, should have mentioned that earlier.

I thought I saw a 0/31/30 or 0/30/31 build somewhere but I couldn't find it again. Going off the assumption that a 0/3x/3x build exists is what this build concept is based around.

If a decent Hemo/Mace build doesn't exist, I'll probably just go combat maces.
