Hello, I come in peace, Rogues. I would request advice on treatment of one of your kin. Please do not stunlock me while I stay here.
A Rogue has been in our guild, mostly PvPing for a month, specced Sutblety with two daggers. However, he now wishes to raid with us, but doesn't want to respec to Combat or Mutilate. What in the name of Sargeras am I meant to do? Should I force him to respec Combat or get left out from Karazhan (PuG raiders would probably be more effective) or let him raid with us with his gimpy DPS?
His Armory seems to hate me, but he's Durex on Bronze Dragonflight (EU).

If you can convince him to at least pick up the 2 S1 swords for honor, his DPS will jump a good bit over the daggers.
He will still be gimped compared to combat, but he won't be nearly as gimp.
If the guild really wants him to raid with them, they could take him on a raid as Sub then have the guild pay for a respec to a combat swords/maces build and show him the difference in his personal DPS.
That may be just enough to convince him that combat may be the way to go.

If you have Kara on farm, I'd let him in. I wouldn't bring anybody that gimp in if you were still progressing, though. If he wants to raid bad enough, he'll respec to something that isn't garbage.

We're not that far in at all (Moroes/Maiden down this week, hopefully, the only reason we didn't get Moroes last week was because our offtank sucked ***), but I doubt a Subtlety Rogue will kill us for one week. He's okay with respeccing to Combat if it truly does more DPS, so I'm looking forward to having a Combat Rogue in two weeks time.
Also, I thought that that spec was rather... unorthodox as well.
Hmm, I looked him up. His gear makes him look like a charity case. 30 hitrating? +3 stats on bracers over AP (which is a skillup enchant, and virtually free on every realm on the earth)?
