warriors LoS'ing priests?! this is madness!Follow

had an interesting occurence in arena the other day. was fighting a war/priest duo (as druid/war) and after a bit of give and take, the warrior got on my druid in earnest and i focued on the priest. this used to not be a problem, since a bear resto druid had as much chance to kill a warrior as a disc priest did, which was to say, not much, and its way harder for a war to kill a bear than it is to kill even a tough clothie like a disc priest. however, with all that yummy +dmg attached to +healing too, suddenly disc priests have become quite the force to be reckoned with.

so right as we four get separated into two warriors each beating on each others healers, you can imagine my surprise (and trepidation) as i see the priest, for apparently no reason, PI himself....and start nuking me. smite, holy fire, mind blast, SWP, he brought it all, and i found myself frantically dancing around a pole trying to avoid the majority of his nukes while keeping MS up as much as possible. my druid partner got kinda peeved at me thanks to my near-hysterical laughter.

after the battle, the absurdity of the situation finally struck me. every single time im after a healing priest, its usually me on the chasing end of our grand ring-around-the-rosey game. to suddenly be thrust into this role reversal was quite a shock, and funny to boot. it almost worked too. id imagine that kind of strat should become more common in the smaller brackets now that +healing gives a nice hunk of +dmg too.
