A LOT of you probally know this already, but it still couldn't have been said better. Once this is understood, it is easy to see why BM is the best dmg spec for PvE currently, and also why some people get WIDELY different results with the same spec. It doesn't come out and say this exactly, but our problems with speed also help explain some of the design decisions by Blizz in the last year or so... such as:
-Why is Wolfslayer better than anything else for a BM hunter all the way up to BT?
-Why are all the end-game bows at a speed of 3.0 only?
-Why did they nerf haste ratings in the same patch that they introduced haste gear in BT?
-Why has troll zerking been nerfed TWICE in the last year or so?

Coordinating haste mechanics, theorycrafting, and having flawless split-second execution in your shot rotation is difficult as hell, and should be important for playing your class OPTIMALLY, but shouldn't be necessary in order to play your class REASONABALLY.

It is all simply concluded in: how does blizzard manage to fail at getting the right speed bows once again?
