Me and a friend rolling double druids (I'm going balance/resto he's going feral, we can both DPS or he can tank and I can heal, whatever's needed). So we're doing RFC, which I should point out that me and him lacked any sort of instant (like how warriors get sunder) or AoE with a respectable amount of threat (like how warriors get TC) before 16, where druids get swipe. So AoE pulls are pain. To compensate, we figure the warrior (who's lowest level, no shield, half the stats of my friend) would tank one mob, my friend would tank another, and we'd put the warlock pet on a 3rd (the max number per pull in RFC is 4, but 1 non-elite).

The warrior would just attack the mob my friend was tanking, saying "I'm not tank, I'm DPS!" So I'd end up healing myself while everyone's trying to do everything else...we didnt wipe, but it still was a pain in the backside.

Oh yeah, he would also charge in while I'm drinking because he had rage left over and "I dont wanna waste rage, if I dont have rage I cant use my skills." He was promptly kicked at that point (we'd put up with him til then).

That has nothing to do with DPS warriors though. That has to do with the player being a ******. I could tell you a thousand stories JUST like that about other classes. Hell, do you know how many ****** hunters I've had who have wiped my groups? Just the other day I had a hunter in Slave Pens that ran ahead of the group because he was going to 'Pull the next group.' He pulled a group of 5 and a group of 4. There were 3 mobs in the pack with an AoE fear, and 2 that could MC. How well do you think we fared?

Every class has retards in it. It's the players, not the class. As a hunter, I think you'd be more understanding of ridiculous stereotypes, considering you probably are THE BIGGEST one in the game.

True that. Kicking the hunter from the group was gratifying.

We all have to rant, but at least label your post with the appropriate caption. No offense, but anyone that low isn't considered dps. That doesnt negate the fact that he's a complet moron...lol

FletusSanguine hit the nail on the head when he (or she) said:

However it's things like this that we see in our early levels that perpetuate the stereotypical misconceptions on how other classes usually are played. i.e DPS warriors don't know how to tank and huntards are everywhere.

Just realize stupid people tend to pick all classes and play them just as poorly.

most especially hunters or warlocks tho.

at least as far as ive observed anyway. and i dont say that as any kind of stereotype, its just when i see someone say "i dont want to tank or heal and i want to be able to solo well and be strong in pvp and group stuff too, what class should i be?" the large majority of responses are "hunter or warlock".

If it was a low level warrior then you should expect newbie behavior. I can't stand how hostile experienced players are to low level newbies. Not everyone at low levels is twinking or running an alt because they are bored with their lvl 70 main. Instead of scolding the player, lend some advice.

We were 2/3 the way through the run before we finally kicked him. We kept telling him what to do, but he was bossing us around the whole time, acting like he owned the place.

Why rant about a Warrior that is probably doing his first instance? RFC shouldn't have rant stories, everyone is still a beginner until they learn. I'd say that you should only start ******** about people at level 30-35, other than that, this thread is obsolete.

And grats on finally rolling your double Druid combo.

Seems like you've taken my advice, too. Nice.

Well, the way this guy was talking it sounded like an alt. And I'll rant anyway if they're going to be a prick when I give them advice.

Meh my main is a dps warr, i always get invited to groups. The only time dps warrs are useless is when they dont have the right gear.
