I have spent what felt almost like an eternity leveling my shadow priest. from level 1 i felt as if it was almost worthless. why would anyone wanna be a damn priest.
Then outland came along with it the instances. "why the hell are you not a healer" is a message i came across many times, Or "priests should heal"
all the way until 70 i heard things like that. and while gearing at 70 i heard them even more. random tells and invites begging me to heal, "im shadow" is a phrase i have used many times.
Finally the much needed use of my priest came into play over the last few nights, kara was calling my name, Finally i got to see the shadow priest top or be near the top of damage meters. Finally i got to see my priest keep mana of the party high. Finally i got to hear praise of the shadow priest. and finally i got to use vamperic embrace, shadow word pain, vamperic touch and mind flay all at once on the curator tonight during evocation... Finally im glad i rolled a shadow priest.

great to hear that... i'm almost there too :) 65 atm.. will be 66 by tonight. but i did not the part where u say it was a drag to get to 70 because u always got the "u should heal" message. i have got taht too.. but i am always willing to heal if needed.. (reason for which i put 11 points in holy).

Nice to hear you got over the hump mate, I have to say it was nice having a guild to help me level mine for raiding. Also, we have a decent server where shadow priests are always welcomed.
My guild is begging me to come along to their shenanigans.
