....race would you pick allly side for pvp: Dwarf or NE?

i ask this keeping in mind the new racials... (the chance to starshards and the new gauge like holy dmg thingie ;)))) (to lazy to look it up) and how usefull is stoneform in pvp? i read the stijy (ofc!) and there sais dwarf is beter.. but that was made before the changes.. opinions?

I'm not exactly sure about this, but Allakhazam says that Chastise is a Holy spell, which means if you're shadow it's nearly useless except when you need to heal yourself and shift out of shadowform. And with the new Elune's Grace it seems to me that -20% chance to get hit and -20% physical and ranged damage makes Night Elves superior to Dwarves now in PvP.

Yes, you can only use Chastise in normal form, not in shadow form. But the OP didn't state what spec they would be going with.

I haven't had any personal experience with the new elune's grace though I admit. I just known stoneform has saved my hunter's *** many times in pvp. :)

Well, Starshards is now an instant cast extra DoT, costs no mana so well yes it's better than it was, PvE certainly worthwhile, if you were a PVPing Night Elf priest before 2.3 then yes you have improved yourself but I'm still with Khalane on this one, dwarf priests ftw.

I've been having a play around with Elune's Grace since my first post (took me a while to find it I hardly ever hit that hotkey) and it's definitely just a chance to be hit reduction, which granted in turn means you're taking less damage but if you are hit the damage is 100%.

well i went with a Dwarf male... for the most important reason of all.. THE LOOKS!! i created a NE and a Dwarf, dressed them up and i decided that i can't stand the look of the elf.. the ONLY reason i would make a NE is for the drood..

i put some outland items on hims and imo Dwarfy is pwnage comapared with NE. so here i go.. off to outland with my brand new little Dwarf priest.
