Tank Questions / Concerns..Follow

Hey guys,
Been a while since I posted on here.

Ive gotten decently geared up:

I am having an issue generating rage in non-heroics.
I do know its due to not getting hit, because of dodge or parry, or even sheild block.

So I tryed Tanking with a 2H Weapon.. That dident work, it seemed my warrior spent more time blocking hits with the weapon then he did swinging it.

So I then tryed DW weapons, and this seemed to work out pretty good.
I am generating quite a bit of rage. And my gear is decent enough where my healers are not constantly healing me and running out of mana.

Is this a good idea for tanking? Does anyone else do this?

Also, I have 25k Honor pts I am not using just due to the fact, theirs no tanking gear for PvP rewards. So I have no use for my honor.
Should I buy a weapon for my off-hand though the PvP gear and toss the Mongoose on it? Or would it not be worth it?
If so, what weapon should I get from Champ. Hall?

I am still doing non-heroics for guildies, trying to lvl them up, trying to gear people up, etc.

I am also having concerns with my TPS.
Normally I am in the mid 500's
And I have been reading Good tanking warriors, are in the 800 TPS range.

I hit that on Occassion.. but Its sorta rare, depending on what I am doing.
Am I not doing something right? Is my gear not right? Am I missing something in my gear? Gems? Enchants?
