Pursuit of Justice - speed stackable at all?Follow

Greetings, worthy knights..

PoJ talent - I know it says in the description "does not stack with other movement speed increasing effects" but i'm hoping maybe something slipped through or just after clarity from those who know for sure?

Most importantly perhaps - does it stack with the Crusader Mount Aura? Seems a bit of a waste if it doesn't :(

Guessing it won't stack with enchants ofc, or carrot on stick trinket but the crusader Aura confuses me as we're losing out on full use of our skills and talents if they don't combine *sighs*

Oh well - fingers crossed but not looking like much hope here - Thanks for any confirmations in advance.

Happy adventures, all!

I have yet to find something that has "slipped through" and been able to stack with the speed from the PoJ talent.

As to if it stacks with crusader aura..I'm going to go with no, it says "does not stack with other speed increasing effects" in not only one, but both the aura and the talent's descriptions.

P.S. It is definatly not "wasted" in my mind...15% is a huge increase, and is very nice for pvp (chasing someone, or catching up to that hunter who is trying to kite you), and also pve (I remember multiple times where bosses pull you in, and then you have to run out in time)...If you are soo into having the speed increase, it also free's up your boots for a nice enchant, that benefits you pvp or pve.

Thank you - just really wanted the confirmation.

Yes, I have it already as well for exactly as you argued 'casper - the speed increase on foot is great and does indeed free us up for other additions to our footwear.

I guess i can still use the Cr.Aura for an additional 5% speed ;D *cheers then sighs* If it can be overwritted by Crusader Aura.. i'd hope so as this isn't same as stacking ;)

Thanks Sirs, and Good day to you both - my mind is eased somewhat.

It is like all buffs, the more powerfull one will override the lesser one (unless they stack ofcourse). Crus. Aura will override PoJ. Actually both the speed increase and damage decrease from PoJ make it a very nice talent to pick up, considering PvP or occasianaly PvE.

When it says it doesnt stack with other speed enhancers it means it doesnt stack with other speed enhancers. At all.

Yes bod, I believe the OP pointed that out, but at some point (it's been a while, so don't ask me when) there were some effects stacking that were not supposed to stack. I believe the OP was asking if somehow that had happened again, which the answer as stated is no :(

Yes, it's a good talent to get for a few reasons: the chance to not take spell damage, it's effect is greater than speed enchants (I'm pretty sure it is now, correct me if I am wrong), and allows something like Vitality or +12 Stamina instead of a Boar's Speed to be enchanted on your boots. I have it and so I generally don't use Crusader Aura anymore, unless I am with others that have the same speed mount as me. Crusader aura overrides PoJ while mounted, but 5% isn't that big of a deal to me, particularly since I sometimes forget to change Auras when I head into battle >.>

Well, I wouldn't complain too much. No other class can compare to our mount speed, even when using items and trinkets to boost their mount speed, and we are in the top bracket in terms of landspeed when PoJ is taken.

Perfect, question answered as i wished - many thanks - i really just wanted to be sure as indeed, Bliz. has on occasion been known to let bugs through so i wanted to be sure this was working as intended rather than go around wasting precious talent pts.

Yep - the PoJ is an awsome talent (for the -to spell hit alone and i didn't mention that at all because it really does go without saying and i wanted to keep my question clear, purely on the speed enhancement behaviours)

Yep - no complaints - we are indeed the fastest on mounts with our aura...though i too leave it off sometimes now i have PoJ too - lag/low fps makes it harder infact to ride so fast ;)) and on foot it's nice to whiz about the place for those situations as mentioned by other honourable knights.

Honour be yours, heroes and thanks again for the answer - I rest easy.
