Hi guys
i have been reading about others sweaty healings here and wanted to tell about my first one of that kind.
im used to play warlock ally, but my guild really needed a healer for instances, so i decided to quicklevel a priest 6 weeks ago, goin all shadow for level and respecced about 5 days ago when i hit 70, bein a noob healer and all havin to learn i jumped doin mana tombs and ramparts ect.
no really big experiences except bein called a gdamn noob healer from a lock who out of combat lifetapped and expected me to heal him up burnin all my waters, cos he was 75 firstaid lol..
then last nite my guild asked me, shd we go get the Slabs key? sure that would b fun, 2 70 hunters a 70 pally for tank a 69 lock and my 70 holy priest.
Sethekk we shd be able to do ok, all went fine. untill last boss...
hunters and lock dies almost at the same time and my priority was maxed at tank and keepin me alive, then i also die and go to spirithealer form use the 15 sec to heal tank to max health and then im on the ground..
lyin there i see tank almost at 1/3 health and boss is also at 1/3..one hunter yells she ressed and is runnin fast tryin to get back to help.
in a split second i make the decision..use my Soulstone i got from lock..release shadowfiend, then use the HealthStone and greater heal, swollow a mana pot, then i got sheeped, gettin mana from fiend, ready again i did a greater heal on tank and a renew, then i got sheeped again. this goes on 2-3 times and just as the hunter pass the corner the boss drops dead..
tank and i had less then 1000 health left and the lock goes WTF!!!
that was so intense i hardly could yell YESS when i discovered the holloewd trousers had dropped..
this was my coolest instance battle so far, cant wait for my toon to be kara ready :D

any advices on gettin higher bonus heal is welcome, i link my toon here:

I'm torn. On the one hand I appreciate your exuberence. On the other hand, your sloppy punctuation and lack of capitalization makes your post unreadable slop.

Many people on the Internet judge you by your grammar skills, consciously or unconsciously. If you put more effort into them, you will find many people respond to you more positively.

How's CoH working for you? Because at +1800 healing, I still think it's kinda weak. Then again I've just been farming kara for 2 months now and haven't attempted any 25-mans.

Gear wise:
Bot: [wowitem=28304]Prismatic Mittens of Mending[/wowitem]
Bot: [wowitem=28322]Runed Dagger of Solace[/wowitem]
Steamvault: [wowitem=27791]If you're a staff kinda guy[/wowitem]
SLabs: [wowitem=27775]Hallowed Pauldrons[/wowitem]

Just some suggestions, try to replace all your greens and get to +1000 healing and 100mp5.

Welcome to the club.

I couldn't get into your armory profile right now to see your build, I'll try later.

Sounds like you had a good start. I'll just throw a couple things out there you might find useful.

Warlocks trading health for mana, just throw them a renew and forget about it. As your +healing improves, renew is going to give them back quite a bit per tick (I currently do over 700 per tick with renew).

Tanks - Lead with PoM. It gives agro to the tank instead of you. After the first one, you may be able to throw another before you start in with renew and your other heals. Throw another PoM on the tank each time it becomes available, and keep renew on him constantly once you start using it.

Others - Renew is your most often used spell for supporting the group. It's instant cast lets you put it on several people and get back to the tank.

Prayer of Healing will let you get off a good heal against group AOE.

Think about taking up tayloring. There are really good BOP tayloring items like the Primal Mooncloth set (3 pieces), as well as the Whitemend set (2 pieces another taylor can make for you). They could give you a good start on improving your +healing. Use the Armory to target possible upgrade paths for each of your slots.

Good job on the fight. Glad to hear you were victorious.

This made me giggle.

Then I couldn't read the rest of the post because it hurt my eyes. But thanks for the mini laugh break from studying for my final exam I have tomorrow!

? I wasn't trashing you. I wasn't laughing at you, I was laughing at the mental picture of "sweaty healings".

Get your lower city rep to rev asap, either through running shadow labs again or through feathers. You can buy 2 prayer books from the lower city vendor. this alone will give you 140 more healing.

Spend some time and get your tailoring up all the way. The primal mooncloth set is an amazing set. All of it is better than T4, I didnt replace my belt till mount hyjal since i didnt like the one from ssc. This would dramatically increase your healing also.

I've never specced CoH, but later on in bt esspecially some fights like bloodboil are crazy healing intensive. One of our priests uses CoH and out healed our 2 resto shamans in the fight...amazing.
