Greetings warriors,

I'm a bit new to the class, and was hoping for some advice. I recently reached level 20 and am at a loss for which way to proceed. I've read a ton of posts about specs and weapons, and can only seem to find conflicting reports.

The majority of what I've read seems to suggest that arms is the only way to level before 40. Is this true? If so, is it only viable with a 2hander? How does dual wield stack up? How does fury stack up?

I've read the warrior can be a number of different things. An iron clad juggernaut, a raging berserker, a nigh invincible steel wall.

I suppose the type of warrior I want to be is a Juggernaut. They kind who is scary and menacing and hard to kill, either because they shrug off blows and/or hit so hard the fights never last long enough to matter.
I've been unable, through testing, to figure out if dual wielding or using a 2 hander results in less downtime. Any thoughts on this? (i hate sitting around)

I appreciate any feedback, and hope Im not being too much of a noob. But, I find that Faq's a bit lacking.

/salute

heres my opinion of what talents you should choose while leveling

10-14 cruelty
15-17 imp heroic strike
18-19 deflection
20-21 imp charge
22-24 imp thunderclap
25-26 imp overpower
27- anger management
28-30 deep wounds
31-34 two hand specialization
35- death wish
36-39 poleaxe specialization

then at 40 go and respec full on arms (what i like to do) or fury and i guess prot if you feel up for it.

My friend sent me this build for leveling my warrior. I respecced as soon as he did. I was arms before he sent me this, and now I'm following this "guide" and I love it. I usually top the damage meters, even if I'm a lower level than the others, and I can tank with no problem. Hope this helps. I find DW/furry tree to be a lot more fun while leveling because of the big numbers you see when you crit, and the buffs you get for critting and being crit, I mean who doesn't like do to a lot of damage? At end-game thats a whole new story. The cookie cutter is usually full prot for tanking PvE, fury for DPS PvE, and arms for PvP. But I absolutely love this build so far..

right there is the talent thing im doing, just go straigh up the tree, heres the order:
1. 5/5 Cruelty (Fury)
2. 5/5 Unbridled Wrath
3. 3/3 Blood Craze, 1/1 Piercing Howl, 1/5 Commanding Presence
4. 5/5 Enrage
5. 1/1 Death Wish, 4/5 Dual Wielding Specialization
6. 5/5 Flurry (God-dom)
7. 1/1 Bloodthirst 2/2 Imp. Berserker's Rage, 1/3 Precision
8. 5/5 Imp. Berserker Stance
9. 3/3 Imp. Heroic Strike (Arms), 3/3 Precision (Fury-2 points)
10. 5/5 Dual Wielding Specialization (Fury-1 points), 5/5 Commanding Presence (Fury-1 point)
11. 2/2 Imp. Intercept (Fury), 3/3 Stance Mastery (Protection)
12. 5/5 Anticipation (Protection)
13. 1/5 Deflection (Arms-Put this last point into whatever you want, I like this talent however)

(Kudos to Xekthurei for sending me this!!) Killrogg server, Conquer FTW!!!

Bit of a mixed boat when it comes to talent spec.
The specs go like this:
Fury - You deal more damage but take more damage.
Arms - You do big spike damage but hit slow and usually have more health.

Either way you should be using a 2H weapon until the mid 40's to 50's.
If you DW earlier on in the game you will find youself not doing as much damage as you won't have the +hit required for the off-hand weapon to hit enough to make up for the lack of damage you miss from not using a 2h.

I generally went arms when I was levelling (cause I was in love with MS for levelling)

But the extra crit % and flurry will help you kill things faster.
