Silly Question - I'm a Frosty right now, and leveling up. Once I get my Elemental, how silly would it be for me to get Pyro?

It's only 11 points (I'd have it by lvl 61), and I'd love to see a Shatter/Pyro/Ignite hit while soloing. I use Frost Nova on almost every fight, so I'd just be curious to see the super duper damage on that.

Of course, at lvl 70 I'd spec something better. Just curious as to peoples thoughts on this for goofing around.

It would be incredibly difficult to get off pryoblast on a frozen target. If you want to do it just to see what it can do, then go ahead; I think you'd be better off sticking the points in some of the Frost talents that you're ignoring to get it though.

99% of the time, you won't be able to get a pyro off on a FN'ed target. It's impossible to get a pyro off on a target frozen by frostbite. If you want to get it so you can throw around big ol' fireballs, go right ahead. I doubt that you'll be able to get many shatter crits however. I'd put your points in frost or start picking up some arcane talents, as those are pretty useful.

OK.

I just thought that I could FN, take one step back (if necessary), and possibly get the Pyro in before the FN breaks. If timed well, I thought it might work.

But, like you all said, it's probably just a waste of time. If I wanted Pyro, I should've stayed a Fire Mage. I'll just keep loading up on my Frosty talents instead. It was just a passing thought.
