Just curious if anyone else is having difficulty with the "ranged bug" a lot of people seem to be complaining about. Primarily what's happening is that in PVP I'm behind my enemy with a full energy bar, but I'm not able to get a mutilate/backstab off because the server apparently thinks I'm somewhere else.
It seems to be affecting both my 39 dagger twink rogue, and my main. It got really noticeable after 2.3, but since I'm not seeing many people complain about it up here I'm now beginning to wonder if I have an addon issue (causing latency) or if I just need a fresh reinstall of the game.
Ideas?

I've heard several complaints of it. All the more reason why mutilate is a broken spec.
The reason you don't hear people complaining is because eerybody specced 31/30 or some sort with hemo.
I also used mutilate up until season 3. But now I use hemo, and even when trying to shiv which isn't dependant on being behind the target, I sometimes have to run ahead of my target to be next to him, crazy I tell you....
Some people just run around randomly and I can't get any specials on them >.<

Which is why Sprint, Dash > position dependent builds for any class.
The Shiv comment reminded me of that any serious PvP-er knows about exploiting the zero-collision feature in WoW; sit yourself on top of someone and you can pretty much nil a decent amount of inc damage if you are lucky or smart.

Part of the reason you getting this problem is due to the GCD changes also, which will always fire the event to the server causing another GCD, which is discussed in official board for some time back.
You can't really spam your key now, need a bit of timing though.
