So I always see the threads for "whats better for pve and pvp" whether its the swords or maces argument or its what build to run. I have been trying to get a build that I can use in both enviorments:

http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Executus&n=Clydesdale

mind u I switch a few piece of gear around between the 2 types of game play but i've found with the talent points like this seems to give me what I need for both enviorments. I'm not gonna lie though I am a little more partial to PVP and in being so this will be a point of view from pvp arguing what suedo pvp talents have uses in pve as well ;p!

So why maces? My argument has always been even though swords will get more dmg off on bosses, maces will always have more versatility on the way to them. For example they could possibly keep a caster in their place help the tank out with tanking less dmg from the mob (trust me I'm not a noob I know the stun will essintially make it harder for the tank's rage to build but I do know they have ways to build it w/o gettin hit too). I wont even get into maces for pvp as every1 here should know its top dog.

Now with my build, its pretty standard for cmbt/mace execpt for the 5/5 in master of deception and the 2/2 in dirty tricks. I've found these two a must for pvp (especially in arena)as for PVE dirty tricks has its uses, prime example: god forbid that the tank loses agro to the healer when it happens I always have blind rdy. That extra distance at half the cost is omg worth it. And as for the sap, guess what sometimes you'll be the main cc in a 5-man enough said....u'll use it alot why not make it easier on ureself.

Now one last things to say before the blast wave, yes I am a lazy speller and no I will never try to correct myself. I have no reason to, I'm sure I get my point across regardless. So please if you are going to respond to this thread keep it about the thread and not bout my super leet gram abilities lol ty!

Amazing. It's like a bad at both spec.

Try a 16-20/41-45/0 variation.

your build is very close to mine http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Staghelm&n=Anir
and i seem to mess up people in pvp just fine, i do find it a bit lacking in pve but as long as the boss dies who cares

The boss isn't going to die if your entire group sucks as much as you do.

Reverting to the old, mean as sh*t, Nooblestick for a minute.

To the OP. Your build is bad. It's like to took Combat Maces, then sh*t all over it. Dirty Tricks is a garbage talent, taken only for filler. Putting 7 points into Subtlety for it and skipping Lethality is just plain dumb.

Holy sh*t that build is bad. It's like the OP's build, except you decided that Blade Flurry and 10 Expertise weren't good enough for three @#%^ing points. You managed to pick up Blade Twisting (most worthless talent we get in 99% of situations) and 3/3 Imp Eviscerate too. Hell, you didn't even max out Malice. Are you aware that Eviscerate is one of our worst finishers? Do you know how to play at all?

Either you're PvPing against idiots or you're lying. The 1306 2v2 rating seems to suggest that you're just lying and you suck at the game. How you manage 1300 with what appears to be fairly decent gear (garbage gem choices and sub par enchants aside) is beyond me.

Great mentality. Let everyone else do my job. As long as the raid limps along through easy content, I'm just fine.

So completing higher end content unlocks builds that don't suck?

19-42-0 for hybrid builds if you got pve in mind over pvp
41-20-0 mutilate if you got pvp in mind first

thats it, end of discussion

Combat maces does better for both PvE and PvP over Mutilate.

wowzers so much hate in the air oh well! So not having lethality is bad...well I figured why have it when there is resiliance. why supplement something when your crit wont get through in the first place. I dont know how many times I've been spotted first w/o using master of deception, u try all the normal tricks jumpin around trying not to stay put but it really doesnt matter, they see you. And as for dirty tricks even with pvp i use it to blind people that kite all the time (ie hunters and mages) w/o it I cant get it off half as easy. So there was my civil response I thanks for the inputs so far.
