Does anyone have a definitive list of what can be, or has a chance to be, dispelled using this spell please?

While I don't have a definitive list of what can be dispelled, this link might shed some light.

Also, I'm pretty sure it can dispel most anything in PvP, except immunity-granting effects; for those, there is a chance to dispel, but it is not definite.

Everything that can normally be dispelled - judgments, DoT's (other than UA), polymorph, roots, hybernate, seduction and other random magic effects cast by mobs and/or players.

Removes Ice Block, Divine Shield and Protection, Banish.

I'm sure I missed a few but those are the most common ones. There are really only a few undispellable player magic effects. These are the ones that can be dispelled by mass dispel.

Thanks to you both... the next holy paladin who says I can't out DPS him and goes and bubbles on me might be in for a surprise then :p

I like dispelling bubble in pvp, but most of the time I can't get it off fast enough to keep the paladin from healing to full. Damn 1.5 second cast for the loss :(

Just to add and adjust, by using Mass Dispel:

Judgements can be dispelled, but seals, with enough talents in the Retribution tree, can be made undispellable.

Unstable Affliction can be dispelled; it's simply a bad idea to do so (usually).

Ice Block, Divine Shield, and Blessing of Protection all have a % chance to be dispelled, and have priority targeting by Mass Dispel.

A warlock's Banish and a druid's Cyclone cannot be dispelled. Don't even try. Only PvP trinkets remove it (not even Ice Block or Divine Shield).

Pain Suppression and Cloak of Shadows both provide significant dispel resistance, but do not have priority targeting from Mass Dispel, and do not outright prevent dispelling.

If youre doing arena's as priest i can really recommend picking up focused power.
Heavy disc / holy heals pretty good in Arena's, also in BG's ofcourse but really effective in Arena's. (eg: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=bxghz0gxM0qpfixh)
Mana burn, PI and mass dispell give the priest a good edge over other healers imo.
Rolled with a shadow priest and warrior in Arena's and didnt do to shabby for the relative slow player i am ;P

With the new 1/3 damage from +healing i love my disc(41) /holy(20) in Arena's, loads of instant cast heals (renew, PoM, reflective shield) and some damage to the side (SW:P, mana burn) and nice survival skills (Pain supression is very good when focussed fired and its hard to dispell too)

Mass Dispel is a new level 70 priest spell in Burning Crusade available from a trainer. It can remove Paladin Divine Shield and Mage Ice Block abilities, as well as other normally undispellable Magic effects like the Banish some mobs use.

As of 2.0.8 this spell had a very annoying game mechanic bug concerning the normally undispellable magic effects. If the paladin or mage had any other buffs on them besides Divine Shield or Ice Block, Mass Dispel would try to remove these other magic effects.

When fighting a Paladin, put MD on a keyboard-accessible hotkey. You don't have to have fast reflexes when fighting a Paladin, so it should be pretty easy to time it right.
