Arena Question.Follow

So, I was looking around in the Champion's Hall the other day and I came across the Talisman of the Alliance.
So I was wondering if this talisman is worth using in the Arena, in conjunction with the Medallion of the Alliance. Would the talisman be a waste of a trinket slot? or would I be better off using the Bloodlust Brooch with the Medallion of the Alliance?

If you team up with a healer, the trinket is fairly useless and extra dps will help you way more.
If you team up with another dps character, it could come in very handy.

Though i am by no means a pvp expert, so dont take my answer for fact.
