Despite what the armory says, I'm not in a guild and have like 0 connections to my server...i figured I'd ask the forums again for advice :p

Okay, my stats are nowhere near what the sticky says I should have for Kara...but I'm running out of ideas, here.

I have 1496 AP with Hawk...I feel thats insanely low. I do still have a crappy green trinket, which can be replaced to give me more. I'm trying to get the one in Mech. Abacuss of Violent Odds, I think it's called.

I'm also saving up for a Necklace from badges of justice, I forgot what its called.

The huge debate I'm having right now is boots. http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=28339 I have these in my bags, but even though the ones I have are green, I feel are still very much better than any 2 gems I could put into these leather ones? I dunno, That's a lof of MP5 and Mana I'd be losing. They really arent even that much worse than the ones in Heroic Botanica.

Speaking of Mana, that's insanely low too. The sticky suggests 6500...I'm a little far away. I was considering putting a +int enchant on the boots to make up for it, but if anyone else has any ideas of how to get more mana, please share them.

I'm also trying to run SV for the Beast Lord Leggings/Mantle, but the pieces I have now aren't insanely terrible.

I also can't decide on +70AP or +35agi. I'm kind of poor right now.

Anyways, the very main thing I'm stumped on are my boot problem, and my Mana. And anything else you see wrong, let me know? :p

Honestly, I think you look fine. I don't really see any glaring problems with what you have. I'd put +35 Agi on the spear, but that versus the 70 AP is kind of personal choice thing, in my opinion.

Just keep working at upgrading. I think your gear and stats look fine for Kara. It may be a little below Aethien's benchmarks, but I think you'll be able to perform decently in Kara.

If you're having trouble getting into Kara, then look to run more heroics. Get badges and save up for gear that way. There are also a couple pieces you could get from BGs.

But, overall, I think you look fine...the upgrades will come with further time and effort. Just keep at it.

edit: close call, but as far as the boots go, I'd probably stick with the greens you have equipped and wait for a better upgrade.

I use those boots, they are good boots. The only 2 items I would replace them with pre-kara would be either

Outland Striders that drop in Arc.

or

Boots of the Endless Hunt that drop in heroic Bot.

But then again I'm a stickler for mail(just one of those things). It was hard enough bringing myself to use a gun, but since I made the gun, and it's a damn fine gun, I was ok with doing it, but I will be trying my hardest to get the Wrathtide Longbow to drop in heroic SV.
