I was curious if anyone is able to solo the old world instances like strat or scholo with their lvl 70 lock? Anyone able to do BC stuff as well?

I've heard of various 70s soloing in the old instances - not sure about taking down every encounter there - mostly farming shards, orbs and stuff.

BRD was my favorite shard farming spot. There are some bosses in old world that were stupid easy after you hit 70, and havent tried since they nerfed every instance to uber-easy mode.

The only one i tried that gave me real trouble on the lock was Scholo for some reason... so I poped on the rogue, its cake with him.

I haven't really tried it since the patch other than Scholo. Scholo isn't possible (to complete at least). BRD is fun to do. ZF is fun (though obviously EASY).

Depends what you want from it I guess.

Going in the back door of strat can get you 2-3 real easy shards. Scholo isn't that bad except for the mobs that are immune to magic(good luck getting to Jandice without a felguard). Brd is always fun, and many bosses in LBRS are fairly easy, the trash pulls are a pain though. Ubrs needs 3 people to start the first boss, but can be completed easily with 3 people. DM is always a good time as well, I just keep forgetting to bring the stuff to try and solo the Warlock mount quest. Not sure if it can be done but it would be a blast to try.

Have yet to try the lower outlands dungeons.

Don't waste your time (and money), butch. Epic mount q cannot be soloed, even at 70.

At this point I have plenty of xtra time and money, and sometimes the pointless and stupid things can be the most fun.

Then I wish you every enjoyment. Tip: Enslave an on coming guard. Without it, you're screwed :)

Strath, scholo and BRD are not to much trouble to solo. A couple of the bosses can be tricky, especially the ones that attack targets that may not have the highest threat, but a couple of attempts and pretty much all of them can be downed. A couple of words of advice if you are ever planning to solo strath, take something to remove the cadaver worms disese. and get your voidwalker out and sac him when passing through the gates that spawn rats and SoC quickly or youl never get a spell out.

Lol why make things so complicated? Just use an Eye of Kilrogg run through gates which will trigger bug/ghost event, cancel eye and watch mobs run away.

Easy stuff =P
