First run in Kara!Follow

Last night, after much debate with guildies who could not believe that I wasn't wearing any greens, I ran Kara. We only did Curator as I joined a preexisting group, but it was a blast...and truly showed me where I AM, compared to where I want to be. It was awesome to finally load up those raid mods, jump on vent, and just rock out with people who knew what they were doing. They primarily only farm Kara now, but they do it nightly unless they're raiding something else, which gives me the awesome experience of running with people who know the instance and are cool enough to tell me what to do when needed.

My guildies all said that I held my own, and that neither of the wipes fell on me, which was a good thing. Most of them were actually surprised that I already had some of the gear that I had only a few days after hitting 70, but I already knew where I needed to be at minimum to run and used Atlas loot and all my free time to my advantage.

I tell you this, unless you're PVP, at 65 you need to be looking for a raid guild and grabbing some of those much needed add-ons. Tonight they are running Gruul's and SSC, which I know I'm not geared for, so I'm going to focus on Heroics and PVP to take the edge off. Plus I want to buy those S1 swords for a little extra dps.

All in all...I'm stoked. This is my first raiding toon.

Grats, i hit my first 70 about 2 weeks ago and i'm still wearing greens and haven't raided Kara yet, hopefully will raid tomorrow though *Cross Fingers*
