So I just got to Outland on my druid. Was gonna wait until 60, but at 59 I decided to run Ramparts and almost got to 60 doing that, finished my last 2 bars grinding on hellboars for leather to make me those slick 57 gloves.
At the end of the instance, a staff drops. Ursol's Claw:

Lucky me. This bad boy increases my AP and stam and strength by loads (decrease on Agi since I had +35 agi on my 45 blue mace (was a 49 twink)). And best of all, I can easily tell it's perfectly suited for a feral druid.
Looking at other pieces of gear, I'm not getting that feeling. I see lots of gear that I'd more associate for a rogue. I assume that's why HotW changed from a Str increase to an AP increase for cat form.
Anyway, my issue is on gearing up this bad boy. For instance, I look at Blood Furnace's loot list and see this chest piece:

Vest of Vengeance:
+27 agi
+18 stam
red socket
yellow socket
blue socket
socket bonus +4 dodge rating
increases hit rating by 11
increases attack power by 42
Per my understanding, this is rogue gear. Is this the kind of gear I can expect to gear my druid up with? Due to my feral nature, I tank and dps frequently. Should I use this kind of gear to tank in or should my focus be elsewhere?
Edit: I should explain my issue. I was under the understanding that feral druids, especially in cat form, should focus on strength. And that tanking feral druid gear should have loads of stam, defense rating, and dodge rating as well as agility. As you can see, this piece of gear (which is standard for all leather drops in Ramps and Blood Furnace) has no strength, limited stam, and no defense rating.
