Some tips please.
I am finding it very difficult to upgrade my mail armour at the AH. There is plenty for levels 60+, and I have bought some items for the future already. However there is a real dearth of Enhancement (STR/STA/AGI spec) mail items.
Perhaps it is a server issue?

Does anyone know which quests (Horde) give decent Mail rewards in that bracket?

What crafted items should I be asking people for? Black Dragonscale?

What Instances could I run, solo / duo / pug ?

I mainly solo PvE and realise that limits my options.
I am currently 'cash rich' at the moment so money is not an issue.

Thanks for any Info.

Check out The Gladiator set. Look over to the left at the various lists and find the Items section. Then click on Item Sets.
The Gladiator set looks like a really good enhancement shammy set. All you have to do is get a group and run the mini-arena in BRD several times. This is what I plan to do for my lvl 49 enhancement shammy.

If you dont mind getting a group together for Scholomance there is a ton of good drops for a Shaman level 54-60. You'll save gold for your flying mounts^^
The Beaststalkers set is decent but is a bit more Hunter oriented. The Bloodmail set is probably the best bet for a Shaman though.(level 56)

Just get through it to lvl 58- once you get to outlands you won't have any problems. Actually don't even spend any money on any gear lower than 58, because it gets exponentially better around that level- just make it to outlands

I noticed a huge lack of BOE items on the AH while leveling my warrior. I think it's probably just a function of less people leveling new chars or taking the time to auction the stuff.

And this was just prior to the patch, so people were spending far more time in each level. After the patch I would assume there'd be even less items than there were before, which apparently is the case.
