I m trying to make a macro that do:

Auto shot, Arcane Shot, Auto shot and Auto shot (for now)

this is my macro

/castsequence Auto Shot, Arcane Shot, Auto shot, Auto shot (<-- works if i spam it for ONCE then stop working)

then I try this macro

#showtooltip Auto Shot
/castsequence reset=6 Auto Shot, Arcane Shot, Auto shot, Auto shot
/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear()

(<---- not working at all)

What did i do wrong ?

thank you

Well, to be honest, this macro is completely unnecessary. It will do exactly the same thing as dragging your Arcane Shot spell to your toolbar, right clicking on the mob, and firing Arcane whenever the cooldown is up.

If you want to be able to open with an Autoshot for whatever reason, and get rid of the spam created when you mash the button before the spell is ready, try something like this:

/cast [nocombat] Auto Shot
/castsequence [combat] reset=6 Arcane Shot

And use the ? icon for the macro

You don't have to push the button for Auto Shot to fire. Auto = Automatic :). As soon as the ? turns into the Arcane shot icon, you can fire again. Since the macro won't know what to do during the cooldown, it won't give you the "spell is not ready yet" message.

Laecy's macro is also very handy for Mend Pet. Mend Pet does not stack, so casting it before it expires doesn't heal the Pet any more and wastes mana. Use this macro to have your Mend Pet hotkey show you when it's ready to be cast again.
