I am currently rockin the battlecast hood and i like the stam and int I get. But there is no crit and no hit with it. I would like to switch but loosing the 43 stam and 28 int isn't fun. Granted, I can socket to get back some of the stats but IMO I still don't have enough hp at it is. I'm not able to raid b/c I play on a central server and I live in Japan, so I have to make due with what I can get crafted. Any thoughts?

for pve (5mans, heroics etc...) then yeah, the spellstrike is worthwhile using instead of the battlecast. for pvp though you may benefit more from the battlecast seeing how low your hp is for pvp, though this is probably only true for arena. in battlegrounds you'll probably benefit more from the spellstrike.

I have to totally agree with the last post. I had the same conundrum when trying to decide which I wanted to make and I really think that for raiding the spellstrike is best and for pveing battlecast is the way to go!
For PVP get gladiators, dont bother with 750-1000g in mats on battlecast. It has no resilience for PVP, and the stamina isn't even that good, no meta. Battlecast really isn't much good for anything except affliction farming or very casual dungeons. For actual dps in PVE, spellstrike is far superior, for actual PVP even the S1 gladiator helm owns it in every way.

Thx. I am farmin the mats for that blessed hood and for pvp have 4 pieces of the the Gladiator set atm. Now if only I could get 50+ more badges... lfg heroic :)
