I have changed my spec to Fury and would like to start measuring my DPS. Is there a MOD out there that can give me numbers to stew over.

Also, here is my Talent build. But, I know it needs to be tweaked. Could I bother one of you LVL60+ DW Fury warriors to look at my build and critique it for me?

Thanks

there is a FuBar module that sits on your fubar and give you your total DPS for a session... or a fight...

or you can mess with SWStats, Recount and such...

PvE DW DPS fury build. you can go 3/3 imp HS for a bit more rage efficiency when dumping rage with HS. try to make up the 1% +hit with better gear so you can put it in imp WW.

SWS is probably the best as it syncs with everyone else that uses that particular addon in the raid. Most of the other ones only count dps based on ONLY your combat log and thus, are not correct the majority of the time.

Based on my experiences on my rogue, I'm confused on the whole issue of not wanting to max out 3/3 in the +hit talent. While leveling a warrior is it even possible to have too much +hit?

I can certainly understand that I shouldn't sacrifice all other stats just to get more +hit, but last I played my rogue (quite a long time ago) I remember feeling like I came nowhere close to making up the 24%+5% missrate (are those the right numbers?) I had while dual wielding. And since each 1% of miss can vaguely be thought of as 1% less white DPS, it was pretty damn important to stack a good chunk of +hit.

Now that I'm a warrior and those misses lessen my non-white DPS (because I have less rage) I've been even more zealous about collecting +hit.

...aside from all that, this thread has been a great source of builds which are far better than mine at Level-DPSing. I'll probably try to fit a respec in at some point.

There is no reason not to max out percision. When you gear yourself though hit takes a back seat to crit and str/ap after you gain 8.6% total hit.

You shouldn't stop at 8.6% but after that the other stats will increase your total dps more than extra hit. This is all relative to the amounts of course. A piece of gear with 2% hit is a better increase than a piece with only 1% crit. All other stats on the piece the same of course.

When gemming +8str > +8crit > +8hit. See the PvE dps faq for more details and the math that backs it up. Yes we get pretty **** about mathematically proving our theorycraft around here.

I'm really happy with an addon called recap. their is also just the addon called damage meter, which works with titan well.

There are some things that I really like about recap (mainly the awesome breakout of information), but as a DPS meter it seems really flaky to me.

I've run SWStats and Recap at the same time, and SWStats seems to be much more accurate. I've seen recap be several hundred DPS different from what SWStats reads, and I'm much more inclined to believe the SWStats numbers. I also don't like that I can't reset recap if I'm sync'd with other players.

Has anyone else had this issue?

recap is hard as hell to get synced, sws isnt. usually, sws is much much more accurate.
