His pet won't scale well enough to tank higher level instances (I would say that Zul Farak is the highest level instance that a pet can be an off-tank).

My pet recently MTd Temporus in Black Morases for a good 20 seconds after our Paladin bought it.

I was so proud :)

...OK maybe 15, but it could've been 20 if we'd been better prepared for the pally's demise.

Meh. I don't have problems making money on any of my toons and I don't put anything in the AH.

Start doing it and you will increase your income by a couple of hundred percent.

Every class has it's tards. It's rather arrogant to think otherwise. "Well MY class..."

What is "my" class? I've played one of every one, some longer than others.

I have play differant classes too *points to sig*. The point was that YOU weren't playing a hunter at the time of the vent. Which would make any other class "you're class". At least I assume so by you saying "their class" "their role".

Edit*
I can't spell.

Im sure I would but I am not playing the game to make money. I am playing it to enjoy it. Games based on making money become dead due to lack of enjoyment. (for me anyway.)

Those shoulders aren't as horrible as all that for a hunter. The axe, yes, is pretty useless. The best layed plans and all that: Even though a hunter has a built in tank and uses ranged attacks, you *will* take damage. Either from linking mobs on accident in PvE or doing PvP. Chain of course has better armor, and that's a sizeable chunk of stamina. The STR isn't wonderful, but it does provide a little extra attack power, so it's not useless. I wouldn't fault him for wanting them. The axe is just misguided though.

He may not know about other options. For PvE, I'd suggest the fleshhide shoulders from Razorfen downs.

So true. The money-grinding part of the game is the most boring part of it. On the other hand, I always get frustrated when I don't have cash for pots, enchants etc.

All I'm saying is, using the AH reduces the time you have to farm skins/herbs/ore/motes/whatever. And the whole thing gets a lot more expensive once you start raiding, as I recently discovered.

At the very least, put your blue BoE:s there, every time you vendor one the angels cry blood.

Having other characters I lately rolled a hunter, just to learn the class. Since the deadzone removal I did one thing (from level 8 on): always have my fishing pole equipped. Reason: learn to use your ranged, learn how to get back to ranged when needed, simply because melee won't work with a fishing pole.

Even if a mob is meleeing on you, you can still move at the moment when hit and fire a concussion. Yes the range will be sufficient and you will get back to range/kiting. It is fun and most of all: you learn how to use your class.

When I got the pet things became much easier. Even if the pet didnot hold aggro (resisted Growl anyone?), you can even wait for another while taking 1-2 hits and get back to range. And the old move-when-hit-and-concussion still works like a charm.

Would not have worked when the deadzone was active my guess though.

When I get them thats about the only thing that goes there as it is worth the times to do.

I don't find making a 1-2G more per item worth the effort to putting it in the AH and having it come back if you know what I mean. =D

When I first started playing I farmed Elemental Waters and was making a grip of money on them but the bottom fell out of them and I got tired of spending hours a day sitting there killing the same stupid mob for miniscule amount of money.

Every day since I hit lv 70 I have received at least one whisper per day from some random person whom I do not know asking either for:

A: gold
B: instance runs
C: help leveling

Have someone begging? Are you a good hunter? Want some good entertainment?

Then tell them If you can beat my pet, I will give you 25gold.

You will amazed at what some people will do for gold...and even more amazed at how fast your pet tears them a new one!
