Earth Shield + lvl 1 Healing WaveFollow

So I just discovered the Healing Wave effect (I know, I know, I'm a slow learner! -- always had gone with the "more mana efficient" Chain Heal).

On last night's Shadowlab run, it appeared that the Earthshield was healing the tank for 760 a pop. Is that from: (1) my +heal, which is about 1600, (2) the +heal from WoA totem, or (3) the +18% from Healing Wave (I was pinging the lvl 1 Healing Wave to keep the buff up). Or did it take all three? At any rate, it made Earth Shield so effective that it really saved mana.

Earth shield receives 30% of your +heal so as you have 1600 healing it would add 480 to the 270 it already receives. The WoA totem should add to this and I believe if you pop a trinket right before dropping earth shield it should as well. My plan for healing was to pop my best trinket, drop earth shield and then a healing stream totem right before a fight to maximize the benefit. As trinkets have short cooldowns it should be more than possible to do it for every fight if you carry 2.

It's from your +healing which includes WoA--and which is why you should always drop WoA before Earth Shield if feasible. SkibumOnShiva is spot on: both Earth Shield and Healing Stream only take your +healing into account when you cast the spell, so you can artificially boost them with trinkets; I still have my Zandalarian Hero Charm for that purpose.

The Healing Way effect ONLY affects Healing Wave, but it's still a great idea to use rank 1 (or rank 2, since rank 1's 1 second cast is actually faster than the GCD) to keep the effect up and for a chance to proc Ancestral healing.
