you do know, that the druids themselves said that it makes your mp5 while casting the same as your mp5 while not casting, and while inervated and not casting, it makes it 400% more than the usual, so that means you'll get (and this is from my character with 166 spirit before buffs) roughly 120 mp5 with inervate up while casting (480mp5 if you don't cast). so yeah. completely useless. that's 480 mana over the 20seconds which is pathetic.

Seems like it is going to take a while longer for us (several in our raid including myself have expressed the preference to go after Al'ar and Void Reaver first, as they seem to be easier to tackle), but I'd obviously like to know about that try from Loki.

Just curious... how many HP do you have for that encounter?
Also wondering if it would be possible to tank it with a warrior with high fire resist, although I think it would be very difficult for him to generate enough aggro...

It's possible to have pretty much any high threat class tank him in FR. We're probably going to start tossing hunters in front of him. We do things funny sometimes. I haven't attempted to do it w/o soul link and looking at the raid list for tomorrow I won't have to since someone is coming as DT/Ruin and another as 2pc T5 Felguard. One of them can do it, imo.

yes any class can tank him with FR gear and the right aggro-abilities, just watch out no one is near that char. I do hin specced raid-felguard, just summon the felhound for the extra resist.
oh and remember to click away Blessing of Salvation ;)

actually i'm surprised you don't see more FR hunter tanks... they've got distracting shot for starters, 8second cd on a 900 threat burst which ain't to bad tbh.

also oaken, i wouldn't be surprised if a druid regen'd that much. they have mp5 gear mixed in with their healing gear as well as mp5 talents

The fireball he casts is an AOE so if you have a warrior tank hime then you can't have any melee dps on him.

I guess a huntard can tank him too, but can they drop the same tps bomb of a timed CoD and SP spam, which allowes all other dps to go full nuke right away?

They lowered the radius on the AoE considerably.

Speaking of AoE...Leotheras attack is an AoE, thus N O T proccing Netherprotection.

aoes can proc nether protection. the gaining of the aoe debuff can proc it, but each damage tick can't.
