Does focus disappear with FD? I wouldn't think so. If it doesn't you could simply focus your target and when he fd's press the macro

/target focus

According to WoWWiki, you SHOULD be able to make a simple one line macro that is:

/targetlasttarget

Hit that right when the hunter FD's and you should right back to shooting at him in no time.

so

"/target last target
3"

So this targets the guy, and presses 3 (My hotkey to the /pet attack /f3 (Sprint.. whatever its called))

I think it would be
/targetlasttarget
/click button3
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Well I've never made a macro to "click a button", but if I was to make a macro to retarget and pet attack, I would probably use this:

/targetlasttarget
/petattack

Hitting that should target your last target and send your pet in at said target.

Happy Hunting!

Even if you are wrong about the macro set-up, I believe there is a keybinding option under the keybinding menu that allows you to bind a key to target your last target, that way there is no need to make a macro and take up an action bar slot.

True, but I find Action bar slots are plentiful while spare keys are severely limited.

Er... no, I use normal KB + Mouse, I have no spare keys because they're all bound.
