Minimum gear to respec DW furyFollow

Just wondering. I have ~1400 Unbuffed AP and 25% crit in my dps gear. And I need at least 4 or 5 upgrades from greens.

So, when do I respec from Prot to Fury for raiding? Will I do enough dps with these stats? to not hold them back? Guild has zero dps warriors at the moment so I'm curious to give it a try.

you're almost there. crit is fine but AP should really be closer to 1500 to not be considered dead weight, but if on the dps meters you're not >3-4% away from the top dpser then you're good.

The minimum stats for starting kara as a DW fury warrior are 1400+ AP, 25% crit, and 10% hit. All while in battle stance.

Not to Hijack but can anyone link to a gear build that would be good for a DW Fury Warrior to work toward pre Kara? I'm slowly creeping toward 70 and I know my gear needs to be overhauled something fierce. I'd hate to get pigeon holed into being a tank because I really love being a Fury warrior but I can't seem to find the right gear that I should be working toward

Did you look at the sticky at the top of the page for Kara gear check?

Is that 10% including precision? I have 126 +hit (I forget the percentage). I am currently using cheapo gems though, so I could probably get to 140.

Anyway, I'll get those 5 upgrades I need and will come back then :)

As far as I understand (also from reading Devious' sticky on PVE DPS), you need 89 hit rating if you have 3 points in precision.

If you have 126, you should be fine for the moment ... focus on getting crit and str up ... you can even sacrifice a bit of hit to do that .. not too much though .. you need to make sure you have at least 8.6% hit so you don't miss with specials (HS, BT, WW, etc). Yes, that includes 3% in precision.

As mentioned earlier .. you crit looks par .. your AP needs to be a bit higher, otherise, you should be fine.

don't gem for hit once you are at 10% with precision. [which translates into - never gem for hit ;)]. Afterwards gem with +8 str or 4 crit/4 str OR 4 str/6 stam if the socket bonus is great [extra strength, crit or maybe even hit]

Also your stats, are those in battle stance or zerker?

Those stats are in Zerker stance russki. I'm just waiting til christmas leave before I start doing any serious/dedicated dps gear upgrading. I know I need a new cloak, ranged, belt, neck, trinket(s) and I'd like to get the pants from Heroic Mech.

Will be running SH for back and waist sometime this week.

you want a little more crit and def. more more more AP [pref. through strength]

With the new PVP gear it should be a lot easier, especially if you don't have access to kara/gruul gear. The vindicator gear is still fairly high up for dps warriors, especially the belt and the neck pieces. Getting a couple doomplate pieces for the set bonus is a smart bet also if you are lacking in that category.

also, check out maxdps.com as a resource tool :)
