Do the returns on Vampiric Embrace (health) & Vampiric Touch (mana) create threat?

How much if they do?
Does this normally pose a problem to tanks keeping the agro?

If they don't anyone have a macro for a casting list?

And while I'm asking questions, anyone have a casting list for best dps?

Thanks.

1.) Yes, any healing/mana regen done to other players causes threat.
2.) I don't know the exact stats, but I imagine its the same threat as actually healing them.
3.) Against a single target? Not usually unless it drops aggro. It might on multiple targets just because the tank won't be generating as much threat on them (unless its a pally tank)
4.) & 5.) Can't help you here, ask someone else.

I think it's 0.5 threat per health and 0.5 threat per mana returned for every person getting the returns.

I wrote a thread that has lots of info, and I'm not going to type it all out again so here is a link :)

Edit: I see from your sig that you're only in the 50s on your priest, and that thread is mostly geared to raiding. Read it anyways. In terms of a macro, I guess using one for soloing would make sense, but in a group on longer fights it doesn't because your DoTs all have different lengths so you don't want to recast them all at the same time or you will be wasting a tonne of mana.

Casting list for best dps, sustained fight:
Make sure VT is always up.
Make sure SWP is always up.
Make sure SDW is on cooldown.
Make sure Mind Blast is on cooldown.
Make sure Starshards in on cooldown (if Night Elf).
Cast Mind Flay while waiting for cooldowns/DoT refreshes. If you have a moment of confusion and don't know what to cast, cast Flay.

For solo'ing, it's much different. I'm to the point where VT->Blast->Flay->Death will kill some mobs before they even reach me. My guess is the best way will be VT->SWP (if mobs live a decent amount of time)->Flay. At that point they should be on or near you, at which point you can wand or Blast/wand. If you find yourself below about 60% on health, throw VE in there as well. Be sure you're facing the other direction and running away while SWP/VE is going off to give you more time and make sure Flay isn't being interrupted. If you need to keep yourself from being interrupted, Rank 1 Psychic Scream is much more mana-efficient than a Shield.
