need strat for 1st boss of HarcFollow

on normal, i just tank him along the back wall and run back and forth to avoid the black holes on the floor. i ran heroic arc for the first time last night, and the group was telling me to first tank him under the ramp, and then on the ramp. the closest we got was with me about 8 steps up the ramp, and we got him down to 1%.

is there a definitive strat for this guy? or can i blame it on my healer and/or dps XD

that's a hard fight on healers and dps, it can be hard on tanks, but generally since we are dealing with a higher stress situations all the time anyhow, moving a mob from point A to point B and then point C, really isn't all that hard to do.

But for DPS/healers, with any lag, sometimes just forget to look at the characters feet... I've had groups wipe because the DPS died prematurely several times, JUST ON NORMAL. Healers can be especially retarded, since they are used to just standing in one place, healing healing healing, check the threat meter once in a while, and then wonder why they are dieing.

The only thing you can do as a tank is run up to him and tank him against the south part of the corner he's in. That'll keep him the furthest away from the rest of the ranged/casters.

We wiped to this guy twice last night... honestly, no ones fault... just bad luck. Our Priest got a trap under him while he was casting a heal on me, just as a knockback hit him...instant dead priest = wipe.

The next time our mage got the same thing... 5 seconds into the fight... not enough dps and wiped.

Granted I'm not the best geared tank (yet), so it prolly could have been easier on the healer, but we managed.

Just wait until the guy in the two boss room (3rd boss). He'll toss you against the wall (better be tanking against the wall) then charge a team member... one shot, errr 3/4 HP off then fire that they have to move from or die. You can taunt him after he knocks you back... but he'll still charge a team member anyway.
