In the group I was in the other day for SH a mage told me, that tankadins sucks due to slow aggrobuilding on single target mobs.

Just to prove him wrong we tried on the first boss to go all out and crazy (gave me 2 sec to fire off my abilities before they all started to nuke).

I popped my trinket (ekstra spell dmg trinket), wings used avenger shield and J
SoB. And I did not loose aggro at all.

But this ain't about how great I am (hehehehehe :-P), but about how to generate hax threat on a mob.

Was it right of me to use my wings before the pull? And was it right to use judged seal of blood instead of SoR?

On a undead/demon I would go something like: Wings, trinket, holy wrath, avenger shield, exorcism, JsoB - and then go on with SoW (since that combo hurts my manapool :P).

I think the threat a pala can put out on sinlge target being undead or demon is allmost overpowered :P.. I've had huters without salvation who without a doubt outgeared me nuking for full power without pulling aggro of me (undead target) :D (theres no doubt thou, that if the fight had lasted for infinity, he would eventually steal aggro :D)

Jacks spelling **** is sorta quite.

Thats one reason why pallys are tanking Kara so well. There is almost no comparison between us vs. a warrior on an undead/demon.

Personally, Avenging wrath is used on EVERY boss fight. I never let it sit on cooldown when it matters. Actually I take that back, if I need a fear break I will let it sit on CD.

I would sick with SoR. SoB is really great and will out dps SoR, but only if you have the gear it needs. Otherwise SoR is just better in all ways.

**Edit

Personally, Avenging wrath + JotC + exorcism + SoR would have given you more threat. I mean holy wrath is nice, but your using a lot more mana than you needed to. JotC will yield way more hate overall than Judging Blood. JotC effects every single threat ability you have (excluding RD), theres never a reason to not judge on a boss.

I agree SotC would have been better, though I always use Wisdom myself, but if trying to prove a point or something like you, would have gone with Crusader. And I agree on the Wings: should never let them sit on CD when it matters unless you may need to pop the bubble for a moment to break a crucial Fear/MC/whatever the case may be. I normally don't pop it till after I'm in melee with the mobs/boss to reduce the number of wasted seconds, but then you don't get the extra damage from Avenger's Shield.

I have 2 jokes for:

...just to safe jack from bleeding eyes...

1)
MY EYES!!! THE EDITS, THEY DO NOTHING!!!

2)
Ashbazg knows that editted posts save me from the floating bleeding eyes that constantly attack me.

I don't think I'm a spelling ****, I'd consider myself more of a "Please use at least 3rd grade grammar" ****.

Anyhoo, I don't think you should have went all out to prove your point. You should have just done your normal routine to prove your point. Granted, SPs are notorious for grabbing aggro, but HOPEfully you put BoSalv on the SP. That fact ALONE is enough to prove that an SP can go more all out with a Paladin tank than a Warrior tank. Against a demon or undead, we definately blow them out of the water in aggro generation, ESPECIALLY if they are fast hitting. (Which is why I thought my Prince phase 2 strategy would work for less bursty damage.)
