From what I've read I assume affliction is THE lvling spec. I'm only 34 but I kninda want to try demonology. If i did I would first put pts into affliction for the imp corruption talent, then proceed into demon. Would it be a viable lvling build or is affliction the way to go?
Yes,it would be a viable lvling build.just put 5 points in corruption to make it instant and then go demo all you want.
Just remember with a build like that at 50 you don't get Felguard, you get it at 55 now.

It's only a bit of gold to respec at 50 and get it then.
Hence me saying "With that build" key word, that.
if you want insta corruption AND felguard you need to be 55.

I would go Full Demo, then, if that's what you really want.
Quite frankly, you're looking at every teir in Affliction Simply becoming MORE tempting... (After Improved Corruption theres Improved Lifetap/Soul Siphon, then Amp Curse and Fel Concentration, and then you might as well be a friggin DrainTank.)
If you really want to embrace the Demo Spec then, for now, Pick up Improved VW, and get your points down into Manafeed (rank 1 at 35) so he can actually keep up with you. If he is tanking so well anyways, 2 seconds added to casting time of Corruption ain't gonna be what is slowing you down -- his mana is.
Go back for Corruption later, or if you're into PVPing then you definatly need it -- but if you're PVPing I wouldn't go Demo at all right now.

Also Master Demonologist works well with a VW for now.
You'll also get Resilience earlier and Demonic Tactics earlier.
Honestly, Demo build isn't ALL about what level you get Felguard... There are some nice talents along the way and many of the scale better with VW.
