Cast cycleFollow

#1 Dec 07 2007 at 10:57 PM Rating: Decent
Alright, I have played an affliction lock from the start of the toon until now, level 48, but on a whim I decided to re spec Demonology. Who knows, one of those spur of the moment things. I definently like the stam and damage boosts, but my question is, what is the usual spell cycle? As the Afflock, I'd ususally just use a normal cycle for mobs, Pet, CoA, SL, Corr, Immolate if necessary and LT + drain life; and that worked wonders. But now I dont have Siphon life, and the way I'm putting in points, I won't have instant Corruption until 55, so what is the usual thing for demo locks? Is it more destro: shadow bolt spamming and immolate, or affliction: Dots and LT + DL? Any input is thanked in advance.

Wow, thats a wall of text. Sorry.

Close enough and it depends on your preference. Mine when I was Demo:

Pet > Corr > Immo > LT > DL

Same level mobs go down just as DL ends.

You can go:

Pet > CoA > Corr > Immo > LT > DL if you think you need the added bit of dmg, but CoA won't tick its full amount.

A better idea sometimes is:

Pet > CoS > Corr > Immo > LT > DL

Whichever you choose, if the mobs aren't dying as DL ends, stick an SB in before LT.

Mine was cast Immo/sic pet - Immo lands same time with Intercept and Anguish so doesnt pull aggro. First SB aggro pull, second SB while mob is running towards me. Shadowburn if there is any hp left on him what was rare.
Keep distance.

I do this:

Pet> CoA> Corruption> Immolate> SB (if needed)> Refresh curses (if absolutely necessary, generally only vs. elites)> Drain Soul (if needed)> Drain Life

Hmm, mine varies more than most it seems.

Ok I noticed you don't have Demonic Resillience, when you get Felguard you will NEED that talent or he's gonna be getting his *** whooped alot.

So, take three out of whatever you want and get that!

I dont know are you talking aout your level or 70 pvp.
Demo at 70,for pvp is same build.
How do you play demo pvp ,well you dont sb spam and stand still thats for sure.

Same as aff, throw dots, sic pet, felguard also has nice skill called inercept ,its like warriors ,stuns target ,does dmg.Practice bro,its not hard, you'll get it fast. Its much easier to pvp as demo then it is with aff or destro.
