So, I started a new druid on a PvP server to play with my friends, and decided to grab leather working/skinning. I was wondering whether the Windhawk Armor or the Primal Intent set is easier to replace with gear from raiding/heroics.
See, I have a 70 druid on another server, and was constantly respeccing him to do whatever my guild needed at the time, as I enjoy tanking, dpsing, and healing equally. The Heavy Clefthoof set can be made with either Ele or Tribal leather working, but I don't want to have to pay to switch specializaztions when I go from say boomking/resto to kitty dps. On that note, here are the sets in question:

Primal Intent: http://www.wowhead.com/?itemset=619
Windhawk Armor: http://www.wowhead.com/?itemset=618

The Windhawk set is harder to replace simply due to a much lower itemization for Balance. So while Primalstrike basically blows anything you'll find in Kara and whatnot out of the water for cat form dps, it's easier to find "replacements" for the set pieces.

I posted this on another thread

However, the [wowitem=29525]Primalstrike Vest[/wowitem] is not as good as the [wowitem=33204]Shadowprowler's Chestguard[/wowitem] which is BOE, craftable and mats cost in the same ballpark.

The [wowitem=29527]Primalstrike Bracers[/wowitem] are not as good as the [wowitem=33881]Vindicator's Dragonhide Bracers[/wowitem] which are very cheap PvP rewards.

The [wowitem=29526]Primalstrike Belt[/wowitem] is only slightly better than the [wowitem=33879]Vindicator's Dragonhide Belt[/wowitem]

On top of this, all can be replaced by new badge of justice items.

When you include the cost of the Primalstrike set (all those Primal Mights!) it is probably easier to go for the honor items (which could easily be farmed in a day or two of BG's

Don't know about the Windhawk stuff though. Although I believe the crafted tailoring BOP stuff is better.

Thanks for the replies guys, looks like I'll probably pick up Windhawk then, as I'm not much for wearing cloth^^
