What do you do in an instance when you over-pull? Challenging shout, right?
Nope, in the middle of a crowded room its much more fun to use intimidating shout.

You wipe, but its much more fun, as I discovered by hitting the wrong button.

Oh yeah, I especially do that when tanking on my feral druid. Sometimes it's just more fun to stop tanking the 4 mobs I'm currently fighting and charge the wandering patrol. Now I'm tanking 8 mobs. That's when the real fun starts.

Oh, you have no idea. This isn't really an 'oops' moment, but how about tanking Golemagg in MC drunk and getting bored halfway through, walking out to the kitchen to grab a beer, and then coming back in and watching your character sit there and auto attack as you drink? That was fun. Yay for funsies MC runs.

This IS an oops moment, that also resulted in a wipe. AQ40, Twin Emps...fall asleep while tanking a late nite raid. Hand comes down on the run key, pulls mob to caster group. Commence casters getting wiped the hell out and being woken up by screaming over vent.

i dont "accidentally" hit intimidating shout. i hit it ON PURPOSE. as you noticed, its leaps and bounds more entertaining. its also a nice challenge of your abilities as a player and a group to see if you can kill 15 elites before they kill you while youre healer is at 10% mana and your other three party members are dead.

This one isn't so much an oops moment as it was me flipping out. I was tanking BM and we had this feral druid there. And like most DPS, this druid was a real damage meter *****. He kept complaining that I was not sundering fast enough and basically trying to tell me I didn't know how to play my class, so after beating the 2nd boss in the instance, I informed my group I would not be sundering anymore, and they had to wait for me to get some aggro. We ended up beating the instance but the whambulance had to come by and get this druid.

All in all, i hate damage meter whores...oops

My "favourite" woops was getting a brand new shiny 1H axe, trimming (aka selling) my old stuff then going to the Ramparts to tank.

Then realising very quickly that my tanking was going to suck becuase I hadn't levelled 1H axe since about level 35 ........ only realising it shortly after our healer bit the dust a second time.

The whelps in BRS.... run through the room. Yeah the room that leroy jenkins stole our hearts in.

especially when you keyboard locks up, and you start running through huge piles of the eggs, then when you unlock your run toggle, you get lots of lag, and you end up walking through a ton more.

This a year or two ago or so... So when I 'unfroze' my keyboard... intimidating shout + retaliation with my arcanite reaper...

I DID die. But it was really fun going down.

lol funny you should say this. This is EXACTLY what happened to me a few weeks ago in BRD. We were right past the bar in the room where you can see Incendius below. I meant to use CS but I hit IS instead, linked about 15 mobs. Amazingly we managed to kill every single mob, but the priest died after about the 7th mob and decided to leave the group.

Immediately after that episode I moved Intimidating Shout to a different location on my action bar.

Well for me, they're all in the same macro (consolidating mouse buttons) but I was used to PvPing, and when you get 5 guys on you in PvP you use IS, not CS.

Oh yeah, that reminds me that I did the same thing... in Heroic Mech. Second wipe on the first couple pulls and the group was like "ermmm... what are you doing?" I noticed, at that time, that my chat log was filled with skill-up messages from my one-handed axe skill.

"Sorry guys, I'm a f***ing idiot"
*short explanation*
*hearth*

Luckily they had a tank replacement lined up. I felt like a complete moron. I wouldn't be surprised if they avoided me permanently.
