Mangle v OoC at 50Follow

#1 Dec 07 2007 at 5:03 PM Rating: Decent
First of all I intend to have both Mangle and OoC by 61 in my feral build, I am just having trouble deciding which to go for first. I am currently a lvl 52 Feral NE Druid and I cannot decide if I should do 41 in Feral and start towards OoC from 51 or grab OoC earlier and then fill out Feral (resulting in Mangle at 61). Any thoughts?

All us veteran's went through this when we were Lvl 60 (pre-BC) and they released the new talents (a few weeks before BC went live).

The general consensus was that Mangle is king. At 60, most of us respecced to Mangle and picked up OOC as soon as we hit 61.

OOC is fantastic, but mangle adds anything up to 50% (*) to your damage dealing capacity.

(*) No maths to back this up :) But mangle is by far the greatest feral talent available

Mangle is definitely the way to go. And it's not just Mangle but the stuff you get on the way down too. Leader of the Pack and Improved LotP are incredible talents.

I had OOC for leveling and respecced for Mangle at 50. After I respecced I went right back to Un'Goro and started killing stuff in half the time it was taking ten minutes earlier. I just dinged 61 tonight and got my OOC back. I did miss it. But seriously, it's not even a close competition in my experience.
