I would say "it varies on instance and mobs" but in reality it usually comes down to "Succy", though I am happy when done with trash so "I dont need no stinking minion" and can cut her throat (sacrifice).

So what do I vote? >.<

It varies, but I use my voidwalker mostly.
Have had no related problems, so far. But, some people think that still means it does not work lol.

I tried to add a Sufferin Succysac option for you Sethy but I think that would exceed my option limits Smiley: glare Or it just exceeded my technical skill.

If I can, I enslave something.

I absolutely love the Mechanar. I also enjoy that last stretch of BF with those enslavable elite felguards. Running around with an enslaved demon is just so much more fun.

And a demon boar with charge is simply the best way to taunt all those hunters with a plagued swine.

I went with imp, based purely on frequency. I like my mana battery.

In truth, it depends, don't it. But I've never pulled VW...

i would use FG if i can, his dps (still) rocks. A bit extra HP doesnt hurt a tank in a bad boss fight, so i would use my (g)imp in that situation. Obviously seduce is good, but i think (if you can, space restricted ofc) fear is more reliable, succy = squishy. Also, FG is a damn good OT in normal instances (intercept is ALL he is good for in heroics though :(, and even that can be more of a problem than help when mis-timed)

OT: I have used all the brackets that were left in the world, no more for anyone. sorry (....

I sac my succy, unless specifically asked for.

I also went with depends on instance/mobs.
However, it's usually Succy. I hate the imp (I'm not affliction, and he's a weak little pest), I use the VW only if the group has no main tank (happened before, me, 2 hunters, rogue, priest) and very rarely, I use the Felhunter (in an instance with lots of casters)

It might be playing hunter too much but I sort of got tired of pets. I love my hunter but 2 toons with pet management played at the same time gets to be bit too much.
Maybe thats why I respecced and tried to play petless warlock but I dont seem to have interest or nerves to go grind different gear and learn different playstyle anymore.
Along with other stuff I decided to retire her.

I can still pop in here now and then and argue about how I used to do it in my time and how these new generations of locks suck :p

Normally, I use the Imp, mainly for the party buff. I was very tempted to say that it varies, but decided to go with what I use the most, rather than use the "special circumstances".

Depends on spec and if CC is needed. Usually 2 CC is enough and theres usually a mage + rogue/hunter in the group. I know how to CC well with sucubus. If I'm affliction I use imp, if I'm destro sac sucubus.

I chose 'whatever the group thinks' just because if I ever have a request I do it, I'm pretty laid back. If no one has any requests I use succy, unless I'm running a bunch of lower levels, then I use VW. Have used imp on occasion but not too often, after seeing how many people use him I'm tempted to try it a few times. :)

this poll is just meh! it´s like asking a rogue what poison the usually applies to his weapons, and there can´t be just one answer to that...

on a sidenote if you ever have to use succu-cc in instances, i feel really sorry for your group.

Ahh, to group with the uber elite every time and never have to worry about cc or run a pug. How 99% of locks must envy you and your ability to hang back and dps with no worries.

succy is amazing cc in instaces, don't dis it :P. same with fear, just people need to learn to use it properly.
#20 Dec 09 2007 at 7:53 PM Rating: Decent
I just use felgaurd, unless the imp is requested.

I've never bothered trying to enslave a demon in an instant.

Usually it's the Imp, for the stamina bonus and the Dark Pact burnin'.

Now that I'm Demonology/Destruction spec'd, I don't know anymore. Probably the Succy for the +10% damage bonus from Master Demonologist.

Normaly minion best complement talent tree(imp for affliction, felguard for full demo, sacced succy for destro nukers etc.) If party composition lacks on CC: do seduce. If party needs extra hp(low tank hp usual): use imp. If situation needs specific action(felhunter for silence, VW for OT): pull whatever is needed :)
I love the warlock class for those utilization...

I use my imp because it's a safe alternative to lifetap.

I chose depends on instance/mobs. It also depends on my spec at the time. If I'm Demo (as I am at the moment) I use felguard unless I need to CC with succy.

As affliction its's imp unless I'm needed for CC.

You really shouldn't underestimate the power of seduce. I have had a group in awe when I managed to chain seduce 1 mob and fear juggle 2 others to death when it was just me and the healer left alive.

i use my imp because of the stamina bonuse and the fact that with affliction talents it is a rechargable bettery containing valuable mana. I am referrign to old world stances up to sunken temple btw.
