Need tips on 2v2 with rogueFollow

Can anyone give me some tips or tactics on druid 2v2 arena with a rogue partner?

Right now the only tactics I know are against warrior/pally teams. (only cause I've been on the receiving end enough to know how to totally ***** them)

As far as I know my main purpose is to lock down their healer (if they have one) and throw hots on my rogue when I can.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

pretty much you find the softer or more dangerous target and your rogue gets on it and kills it while you control and heal. for double dps, play defensively, and go for a more attrition-based strategy where you wear them down slowly. for 1 dps/1 healer you go after whichever target seems to be the easiest one to kill, but stay ready to switch over and force split healing with clever use of cyclone.

obviously theres more depth than that, but without going into specific situations thats the best i can offer.

I'd try maybe healing more than just "when you can" if you find the Rogue to die too quickly. Locking their healing is very important but it's pointless if your teammate dies very quickly.

Other than that I cannot say. Play more, discuss tactics against different team setups and eventually it'll get better.

Well when I say "when I can" I mean inbetween cyclones or after a feral charge or after a maim. Basically when I'm not currently in an action to lock some one up.

Though I do understand I have to forgo that if he gets low and really needs the heal.

And quor please do go into specifics. Like I said I'm willing to take any advice given. We played 10 games yesterday and were pretty bad. Was mostly my fault as I never really pvped on my druid coming up so I'm pretty noobish at it right now.

Cyclone is the most ridiculous 2v2 spells there is.

No need to lock down their healer, cyclone/root their dps and let your rogue wreck their healer if he's decently geared.

well, in terms of specifics, the key thing is knowing how to hit and run, when to bear it up, when to travel, and managing your cooldowns.

anytime youre under fire, be sure to use barkskin as soon as you hit caster. remember you can use it while stunned too. armor > all when fighting rogues and warriors, so get a good armor weapon (earthwarden or staff of natural fury) and enchant it with +healing or int and use that if you come under attack. try not to get feared in caster form, and do your best to keep yourself over 60% and your rogue above 70%.

if possible, ill try to go into more class by class stuff, but thats really time consuming, and to be honest, takes a sight more effort than im willing to put out right now lol.

1. Go to this website Pure win
2. Read all the debates on the druid forum (and when you got time, also on the other forums to learn the other classes, and what they hate most)
3. ????
4. Win arenas/profit

I've only arena'd on my warlock my druid is 68 and i love it. I would think that even a well geared clothie would have a hard time taking a beating from a rogue and feral druid. Im just curious why people want druids to heal in 2v2 when there combined dps would give no healer a chance to do anything.

I play rogue and i think a resto/balance would be best teammate...your heals with some more dps on the side with that cyclone helps
