You know what? First and foremost - Congratulations on getting to 70!

As for gear, it all depends on what you want to go into. If you're in newbie lvl 70 greens, despite what some say you actually CAN jump right into the arena. You won't break 1700, but if you keep at it you can score killer gear.

Or, the vastly easier route to gear up for Arena so you can actually do well, run BGs, grab Vet gear and gear up in order of greatest bonus (sounds obvious, but it's true).

For PVE- you're 70 now. If you are in a lowbie guild, consider befriending another guild and running instances with them. If you're in 70 greens, consider questing for the 70 blues.

Basically, get rid of your gear and work towards bettering it- either for PVE or PVP.

Edit- and rate up for getting to 70.

I would've said this up until a couple weeks ago.

With season 1 gear becoming available for honor....the easiest way to get killer weapons is to just run bgs until you get 91.1 dps weapons.

For the rest of the gear, bgs are still much easier to run for gear, but you will need rep for specific stuff. ie. the head enchant requires cenarion expedition rep.

Shadowpanther is a very good resource, so give it a look.

The most important gear for rogues are the weapons, so bg weapons are what ou need first and foremost. After that find what instance drops the gear you want (say you want assassination? then run the instances that drop that gear) and start running them.

Find a guild that runs kara and start getting the nice drops. Any guild unning kara solidly atm won't hurt with your quest greens...

Or, find a guild progressing to kara and run instances solidly with them.

That is what I can think of for now.
