Some basic questionFollow

I read about gems,specs,skills alot but I still dont understand how +hit procs my offhand attacks(build 31/30)or normal atacks.

I now that usually mobs have 5% for avoid my atack so that +5% is wanted(+ bosses in instances and raids with bigger avoid chance cuz higher lvl then players).

But in normal fight on arena or with normal mobs should I looking for equipment +hit above that 5%?

If +hit procs my atacks how I can count this chance?

I always thought that +AP is most important,especially in PvP and with hemo build.

Rogues generally dual wield weapons, but this imparts a 24% base chance to miss against a level 70 mob. If you get precision this is reduced to 19% and then you needed 308 hit rating (pre-patch 2.3) to account for that so that your attacks will never miss. In the case of raiding, hit is more important than attack power as 16 hit has a higher return than 16 attack power.

From what I understand, in the arena you need only (70/80) hit rating in order for your specials to never miss which is generally where a bulk of your damage comes from in pvp anyway. So if we're talking about arenas (this is second hand information but it comes from other good rogues) you want to get at least 10k health and get your resilience around the 300 ballpark or better. Then start bumping your Attack Power and/or crit according to your build's needs keeping only enough hit for your specials to always land. Arena is about controlling the fight rather than bursting down the other guy, which isn't really viable anymore anyway.

Thx for answer.

So lets say that I will have 10k HP and 300 res-after that should I care about +crit with hemo build or only AP or still res and HP?

I would suggest AP.

Crit damage is reduced against higher resilience targets, whereas AP gives sustained damage that is linear.

My gear currently has +16 AP gems at the cost of health. Not the brightest idea but I usually am not the first dead in my arena team.

stam=resil > ap=agi > crit > hit

in terms of pvp anyways

And in terms of PvE-should I care about +crit or only about +Hit and after that +AP.
