Hi,
maybe this question was already done like 1 million times but cant find the answer...
supression(lowers enemy target to resist afliction spells por 2-4-6-8-10%) works as spell hit rating? If I got hight hit I can avoid this talent? How does it wok?
Tks

You got it. +Hit% > Suppression because it affects all your spells, not just Affliction.

202 is the cap for spell hit. You need 16% to get 99% on bosses(always gunna be a 1% chance to resist) and it that 12.6 to get 1% spell hit.

So basically, use suppression as a filler until you can get the hit capped out. Each talent is worth roughly 25 spell hit, so if you have 150 spell hit keep two points in it.

However do not use suppression as a substitute for Spell hit as it only covers affliction spells and not stuff like shadow-bolt or immolate.

Or the ever-important Soulshatter. If that resists, you're kinda ****** for damage for the next 5 minutes.
