...happened yesterday evening while we were preparing to down Karathress.
After buffing everything went completly silent and you suddenly heard a high
**pling** and in the chatwindow you could read: Playerx gets 2x Void Crystal

And suddenly playerx shouted on Teamspeak swearing like a harbour-harlot.

What happend was that instead of putting Wizard Oil on his weapon was he disenchated it, muha! It was the Prince dagger with soulfrost-enchant.

Last time i saw someone do this was in AQ40 right before the Twins, seems this is ought to happen every now and than.

Umm. Perhaps Blizzard should do the same thing with DE as they do with deleting items...

That would **** me off big time.

that would apply to only higher lvl/rare items right?
I'd personally get annoyed at having to type disenchant every time I disenchanted something. Especially when you use d/e to level those first few levels of enchanting.
I'm curious as to where his Wizard Oil and D/E things were placed so that he got them confused.

ps. glad to see someone else that uses Teamspeak! I like it so much better than ventrilo

Ha ha!

But it's right there on the screen. Twice!

"Type "DISENCHANT" to disenchant."

Of course, I'm assuming they can read...

Yea, it would be a good idea then.
I'd love to have heard that guy over TS when it happened =o. I'm not sure how I'd react

Someone in my guild did the exact same thing, and asked Blizzard politely if she could get the blade back.

Lucky for her, two days later she did!
