I am currently a lvl 70 ret spec pally with Superior Armor (Felsteel and Adamantite) equipped. I also have the Oathkeeper for my weapon as of right now. I have 8222hp and 4863mana unbuffed. Is this good enough to start Heroics without getting beat up to bad too bad? Suggestions needed..... BTW, I already know I need to get my BS up so I can have the +25 strength.

not knowing anything else about you, i'd say 8k hp and 4.8k mana is a good start. for ret though the more important stats to determine your value as dps is gonna be your AP and crit rate. if you're between 1100-1200 AP and 25% crit you should be good... but not being able to see armory and not knowing more of your stats i can't know for sure. and those stats are prolly only gonna work in the easier heroics.

yeah, um, like i said you need about 25% crit and 1100 unbuffed AP is bare minimum.
if you want some ideas look up the second char in my sig, camila. she's only 66 and she has unbuffed over 1100AP, and 25% crit. as she works toward 70 she'll probably have 1300AP and at least stay at 25% crit. i'm gonna try to bring it up to 30% though. probably won't step into heroics myself until i hit that just so i'm not a liability to the group.
unlike some other classes where their damage comes from spells or abilities and gear just helps (i.e. rogues with great abilities and combo points/finishing moves), ret pallies damage is hugely dependant on its gear.
If you ask yourself that question you're NOT ready.
